Short version: your resume content is yours. We store it so the app works, we don't sell it, and we don't train shared models on it. The long version is below.

What we collect

Account email (via Clerk), the resume files you upload, the optimizations they produce, and your conversations with the coach. We do not collect demographic profile data, and we do not buy from data brokers.

Stripe stores billing addresses and the last four digits of cards for receipts; HiredNa never sees primary account numbers.

How we use it

To run the optimization pipeline you requested, to charge for the plan you chose, and to debug failures. We do not train models on your resume content, and we do not feed identifying data into a shared training corpus. Aggregate, non-identifying metrics (run counts, niche distribution, average ATS lift) inform the changelog you read.

Sharing

No third-party advertising. No sale of personal data. Stripe handles payment instruments; Clerk handles authentication; Convex hosts your data.

Vercel AI Gateway proxies LLM calls to the active provider (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, or OpenAI GPT). Provider terms apply to the prompt content for the duration of inference; nothing is stored long-term on the provider side.

Storage and retention

Resume artifacts live in Convex storage, encrypted at rest. When you delete a resume from the dashboard, it is removed from primary storage immediately. Backups roll off within 30 days. Deleting your account triggers a cascade purge of every owned record (resumes, optimizations, diff hunks, coach threads) within one mutation.

Your rights

You can export, correct, or delete your data from the Settings page at any time. For GDPR, DPA, or procurement requests, email privacy@hiredna.app. We acknowledge within 5 business days.

Cookies and local storage

We set a small number of first-party cookies — session token (Clerk), theme preference, and region for pricing. No advertising or analytics cookies that follow you across sites.
